My responsibilities as service crew included:
- Performing daily operation tasks (taking orders, cashiering, serving food & beverages)

This job allowed me to hone and showcase my time management and organizational skills, as I had to manage my responsibilities like school, volunteering and work at the same time.

Due to this, I was able to hone my time management and customer service skills, ensuring smooth operations and during peak hours. Even though it was challenging at times, it got me out of my comfort zone and improve my communication skills with coworkers.

After I completed my O-level examinations, I took up a two-month contract with NTUC FairPrice doing part-time cashiering and providing customer service for five days a week. I assisted customers who needed help to check-out their purchases at self-checkout counters.
